Booking & Cancellation Policy

At Calma Vida Wellness, every reservation is thoughtfully prepared to provide a personalized luxury in-home wellness experience. To ensure exceptional care for every client, please review the following policies before reserving your appointment.

 

Reservation & Payment

All reservations are confirmed with full payment at the time of booking through our secure online reservation system or an approved payment method. Your reservation secures your preferred appointment time and allows us to thoughtfully prepare your personalized in-home experience. All reservation payments are non-refundable.

Reservations Scheduled 24 Hours or More in Advance

Reservations may be rescheduled one time at no additional charge when requested at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. The rescheduled appointment must be reserved and completed within 30 days of the original appointment date. After 30 days, the reservation payment will be forfeited and cannot be applied toward future services. Cancellations or reschedule requests made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment are subject to a $50 late rescheduling fee. If you choose not to reschedule, your reservation payment will be forfeited.

Reservations Made Within 24 Hours

Reservations scheduled within 24 hours of the appointment time are considered final, as immediate scheduling, travel planning, and preparation are required for every mobile service. If an unforeseen circumstance arises, a one-time courtesy reschedule may be offered at the discretion of Calma Vida Wellness and will be subject to a $50 late rescheduling fee. Same-day cancellations and no-shows are not eligible for refunds or credits.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations requested 24 hours or more before the scheduled appointment may be rescheduled according to the Reservation Policy above.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment, same-day cancellations, and no-shows are considered late cancellations. Reservation payments are non-refundable and will be forfeited.

No-Show Policy

If we are unable to begin your appointment because there is no response upon arrival, or you are unavailable 15 minutes after your scheduled appointment time, your reservation will be considered a no-show.

The full reservation payment will be retained, as your appointment time was reserved exclusively for you.

 

Arrival & Preparation

We arrive approximately 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment to prepare your wellness space and ensure a seamless experience. Please provide any necessary arrival information, including:

• Gate or entry codes

• Apartment or suite numbers

• Elevator instructions

• Parking information

• Any additional access details

Calma Vida Wellness arrives approximately 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment to prepare your wellness space.

For the best experience, we recommend a minimum 10' × 10' area for the massage table and therapist to work comfortably.

If access to the home is delayed or the space is not ready upon arrival, your session may begin later than scheduled. To respect the reservations of all clients, the appointment will still conclude at its originally scheduled end time.

Late Arrival

If you anticipate arriving late or if access to the service location will be delayed, please notify us as soon as possible.

Every effort will be made to provide your full reserved service; however, appointment times may need to be shortened to accommodate the remainder of the day's schedule. The full reservation fee will still apply.

Travel & Service Area

Calma Vida Wellness is a luxury mobile massage service. Travel is included within our standard service area. Appointments outside our standard service area may require additional travel time or a travel fee, which will be discussed before your reservation is confirmed.​​​​

Illness

If you are experiencing a fever, contagious illness, or symptoms that may affect the safety of your session, please contact us before your appointment so we can discuss the best rescheduling option.

​

Safe Environment

Calma Vida Wellness reserves the right to decline or discontinue a session if the environment is deemed unsafe or inappropriate. In such cases, the full reservation fee will be retained.

Appointments outside our primary service area may be available and may require an additional travel fee, which will always be discussed before your reservation is confirmed.

Medical Considerations

Your safety is our highest priority.

Please inform us of any medical conditions that may affect your treatment. A physician's clearance may be required for certain health conditions.

Certain services may not be appropriate for clients with specific medical conditions including, but not limited to:

• Active infections

• Pregnancy (for select services)

• Recent surgery

• Pacemakers

• Active chemotherapy or radiation

• Certain heart conditions

• Epilepsy

• Photosensitivity

• Recent cancer treatment

• Immunosuppression

Please also notify us if you are taking blood thinners, antibiotics, steroids, or any medication that may affect your treatment.

Gift Cards

A Calma Vida Wellness Gift Card is a thoughtful way to share the gift of restorative wellness. Perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, or simply showing someone you care.

• Gift cards may be redeemed toward any eligible Calma Vida Wellness service.

• Gift cards are valid for one (1) year from the date of purchase.

• Gift cards are non-refundable, non-transferable, and may not be redeemed for cash.

• Gift cards must be redeemed when reserving an appointment through our online booking system. Simply enter the gift card code at checkout to apply the balance toward your reservation.

• Gift cards are subject to service availability and all applicable booking and cancellation policies.

• Any remaining balance after redemption may be applied toward a future reservation until the gift card's expiration date.

Ritual Membership

Membership Commitment

The Ritual Membership begins with a three-month commitment.

Following the initial commitment, memberships continue month-to-month and may be canceled with at least 7 days' notice before the next billing date.

Billing

Memberships are automatically billed each month on the original enrollment date.

A valid payment method must remain on file.

​

Scheduling

Members receive priority reservation access throughout our Los Angeles service areas.

Reservations remain subject to availability.

​

Session Rollover

Unused sessions may be rolled forward while the membership remains active.

A maximum of two unused sessions may be carried at any given time.

Additional unused sessions will expire.

​

Membership Rescheduling

Membership appointments may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice.

Appointments canceled within 24 hours, same-day cancellations, and no-shows will result in the forfeiture of that membership session.

Membership Benefits

Membership pricing, benefits, and rollover privileges remain available only while the membership is active.

​

Membership Cancellation

Following the initial three-month commitment, memberships may be canceled with at least 7 days' notice before the next billing date.

Membership fees already processed are non-refundable.
